AWS User Group Portal Walkthrough

We at the Hyderabad, India AWS user group have built our own UG community portal running completely on AWS. This was primary born out the necessity to have an alternative to platforms like Meetup due its lack of visibility into our community audience, ability to reach out to members in a non-restrictive fashion, host alternative content etc.

The portal allows our community leaders to not only have it integrated with existing services like Meetup but also host additional resources like Q&A Forums, blog content, job postings, create and send proper emailers to the community, speaker registration forms, have an Event Management tool, run owned Event ticketing platform etc. all in a single platform. This session will help you evaluate if building such a portal for your own UGs will be beneficial to achieve deeper engagement with your community.

There will be 2 sessions (repeat) you can choose from depending on your time zone. It will be a 45mins – 1hr session including any Q&A. Time zones falling before 6AM and after 11PM are marked blank below.
